Disable mouse acceleration (Windows: uncheck Enhance Pointer Precision) and set pointer speed to 6/11.

Inconsistent readings

Take 3-5 measurements and average them. Ensure you move in a straight line.

Cursor jumps or skips

Clean the mouse sensor and mousepad. Low-quality surfaces cause tracking errors.
